Our Story

BMG Wholesale is a division of the Work Training Center, the 5th largest employer in Butte County, California. What makes us special, however, is that the bulk of our employees are adults with disabilities. BMG Wholesale consists of Deer Creek Sewing (Chico, CA) plus the combination of Feather River Industries (Oroville, CA) and Bear Mountain Production Services (Chico, CA), all part of the 501-c(3), not-for-profit corporation that is the Work Training Center. Disabled adults manufacture the sewing and wood products that you purchase from this web site.

Our customers are wide ranging; from local beer maker Sierra Nevada Brewery, to New York's Ritz Carlton Hotel. Hopefully, the one customer we can gain: is you. At BMG Wholesale, 'custom' is a championed root word. That means we can customize specifically for your unique packaging and product. But it also means that we value you, the customer, and we are dedicated to showcasing the quality of what our labor force is able to do.

With that, the mission of Work Training Center is to assist and support people with disabilities as they achieve increased independence in work and leisure, and to enhance the quality of their lives. Since 1949, The Work Training Center has been meeting the training, vocational, and recreational needs of adults with disabilities, and currently serve over 800 throughout Butte County.
